DARLING DOWNS POWER STATION – LAING O’ROURKE

Our Heat Treatment Technicians provided Pre and Post Weld Heat Treatment for the entire construction phase of the Darling Downs Power Station. The facility, near Dalby west of Brisbane, is gas fired. The power station, Australia’s largest combined cycle system, at 630MW is also one of our countries most efficient. Our staff worked to the highest quality and safety standards, on site for fifteen months, until completion in 2010.
